My son was admitted to Dell Children's hospital in July 2017 for overnight observation . Dell hospital was covered under network but the doctors from Pediatric Critical care were not, I did not have a choice, nor did I know this doctor was not in network. After a year of back and forth with insurance and pediatric critical care we came to an understanding of what I owed. I have received 6 different bills saying I owed anywhere from $700 to $400. My son was bite by a rattlesnake back in Oct. 2014 and was transported to Dell Children's Hospital where he receive excellent care. The Pediatric Critical Care Associates were one of the first to see him in the first hour. Once again service was great. We had to ask for assistance with the bill (Snakebite-$245,000.00) and we were told by the PCCA that they would help us and give us the same discount that Dell did.
