I have visited both the Tredgar Lake office and Hioaks. The staff at both are awesome!
We are new parents and so far our experience at Pediatric Associates has been phenomenal. We never wait for more than a few minutes to be seen, and the staff is always so pleasant and professional. Dr. Cothran is amazing. She is friendly and personable and answers all of our new parent questions without any sense of judgement (I know too many people - doctors included - that judge new parents. I had a great experience with the doctors at this practice. Unfortunately, the referral specialist (Gardenia I believe) and the office managers greatly mishandled a very important situation which led to my decision to leave the practice after years of bringing my daughter to this practice. It's unfortunate that I'll be leaving Dr. Sykes, but the unprofessionalism on the part of the office managers and the referral specialist is unacceptable.
Awesome pediatric office! The staff is always helpful and friendly, we’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Dr. Cothran is so sweet to our baby and always takes the time to answer our new parent questions :)
Great doctors and nurses and I never have to wait long for them to call my child to the back.
The patient care coordinations at the Hioak location are the worst and not helpful. They are some of the rudest, unprofessional people I have ever met. The back office have on numerous times given me someone else medical records. I am very positive they have violated many HIPA Laws! That tells me they do NOT pay attention to details. I will be transferring my son to another medical practice which is sad bc I love my son PCP.
Awesome caring drs and nurses
I like this practice and its physicians but getting anyone to answer the phone is a constant problem.
