Went to see the scarecrows, on a Friday to avoid the crowds. Alot of changes going on...not sure how many are for the better. Service was very friendly in all the stores
One line for food at octoberfest. Parking was bad. I was blocked in.�
We go to Peddlers Village as an escape and to treat ourselves to the rural atmosphere and breathe in the artistry. LOVE the French Home store and American Craft store. So beautiful.The lines for the food places were very long so we choose not to eat lunch till 3:30pm. Our waitress tried to be pleasant but obviously had a tough day. Looked haggard. We tipped her extra for making the effort. Food at Hart's was tasty and a table at the window enhanced the meal.
Love it the Christmas special was the best time for me
We love peddlers village I was just there on Tuesday October 4th. We ate at Harts Tavern and it was a horrible experience!! We waited 50 mins for a tuna fish sandwich and cheeseburger. The waiter apologized up and down and told us that the kitchen was way understaffed that was NO excuse!!!!! I witnessed a waiter being rude to an elderly couple. Three other tables complained while we were there also. I can probably say I won't be going back there!
We always go to see the scarecrows. They never disappoint. Plenty to see, buy and eat.
My wife and i were there for the first time this weekend and enjoyed the visit very much .We loved the scarecrows and the whole experience ate at buttonwood pub which was very good. We will be visiting much more often
We stayed 2 days at the Golden Plough Inn and absolutely loved it. The scarecrow festival was cute, the shops were adorable, and the village was quaint and lovely to just walk around. The food was delicious... we tried everywhere and never had to wait more than 20 minutes. It was such a wonderful little getaway.
