I attended the Apple Festival as well. It was definitely WELL attended! Took us quite some time to park once we were close because of traffic. It was crowded but it's to be expected of such a great event! Patience is required at an event heavily attended. Can't wait for December Festival!
Very cute little town. Loved the Christmas lights at night. Fun weekend getaway.
My daughter & I were there yesterday. Had a wonderful lunch at the Cock & Bull and only had to wait 40 minutes to be seated. We walked around and the stores weren't really that crowded. By the time the sun went down it got really crowded, I'm sure because of all the beautiful Christmas lights! It was a nice day and for this mom it was all about spending the day with my daughter!!
Such a pretty village, lots of shops, places to eat, parking is free!!
Enjoyed my birthday celebration at Peddlers Village. We ate at Hart's Tavern where we all enjoyed our meal. I loved my portobello wrap, my daughter and husband devoured their burgers and my son loved his pulled pork. We all loved the fries. We shopped at various stores. I got a purple sequence poncho on sale at a fashionable shop with excellent customer service, a pair of purple earrings, purple boot socks, earrings for my daughter at a whimsical shop called Journeys Spirited Gifts and a bracelet at Sunflower. My daughter fe... read more
Have been going to Apple festive for 7 years..love it. When you go to Festivles...expect crowds and to wait. Returned yesterday for Christmas lights, we always eat at the Buttonwood, food is always excellent. We decided to try the Cock and Bull this time. Food was good except for the burnt soup and the service was lousy. 2 hours for drinks and sandwiches . We will be going back to the Buttonwood next time. Be respect full of your employees and don't a scold your hostesses in front of your guests...it's not right..She was jus... read more
I've never been there before it's a beautiful place with lots to see and do! Will go back again!
We go as a family every year for The Grand Illuimination. It's always fun to see the children's reactions. This starts the Christmas Holidays for our family. My granddaughter Adrianna loves it.
We just went to the grand illumination last night and was not disappointed. The event was well planned, the weather was gorgeous, and the lights were fantastic. The Christmas music and fake snowmade it a festive night.
