Love Peddlers Village! But DO NOT eat at the Cock and Bull Restaurant. The food was horrible! My apple salad was old and wilted. The apples were so old the green skin was brown! My cousins French onion soup was a glob of bread with a few onions and overdone cheese on top. My other cousin's calamari was over cooked and looked refried.. and she ate a piece of hard plastic. We enjoyed are visit. But we would have liked to stay over night. Does anyone know of a hotels or bed and breakfast in the area?
But I little upset that they turned me away for the craft fair. States I be competing with thier vendors. I didn't know my work was that great to over take them. Hummmmm
So disappointed. I sent an email regarding the gift card my daughter got me last Sunday, yet I have heard NOTHING from anyone at Peddler's Village. NO WHERE on your website when you get a gift card does it say that it is not good for use in the shops. My daughter who is away in the military, ordered a $200 gift card for me for Christmas. She was under the impression that it was good for the shops... as the card says right on it.. I expect it to be packed especially during the winter holidays so I go early, find a place to park, put my reservation in for food & enjoy myself. I don't listen to people grumble- I can turn on the tv or go the mall for that. You Find What You Look For. I go every year and suggest it to anyone else. A bit of planning makes for a lovely time!
A nice outing with some friends! Parking is at a premium, so I'm glad we rode together. Very crowded, nice lights. Stores are nice, but not spectacular. Restaurant waits were too long (2-3 hrs. ++)!!!!!
Not a fan of this place. This is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the yr, yet people are arguing over parking and cursing at one another. One guy almost hit my car from backing up, then tried telling me to shut up cuz I honked my horn. Sorry I don't need any more dents in my fairly newer vehicle.
