My experience with Pedder Hyundai was unacceptable on multiple levels. You come in with a state-backed grant designed to empower disadvantaged communities, and instead of honoring that spirit, they used it as leverage to upsell and obscure costs. It all started with a service appointment for my 2023 Sonata Limited Hybrid... Jason was amazing and friendly. It was easy to make an appointment with a service rep that actually works at the site (vs a call center, who knows where, and couldn't transfer your call to the dealership). My daughter and I have had two great experiences with Pedder Hyundai. One with a key failure and another with a check engine light issue. Both times they were very helpful and professional. They took my daughter home with an Uber and offered to bring her back to pick up her car. They were great on the phone as well. The check engine light was minor and they had her car in and out quickly. Very happy with our experiences there.
I have been customer of Pedder Hyundai of Poway for past 10 years. I had very bad experience on August 6th to August 13th 2025 while I had my car for engine replacement which was under extended warranty, the service advisor Jason, would not answer calls or return my calls and I had to drive to dealership to ask him status of my car and why he would not answer my calls. he basically said "I do not answer calls i only text and I texted you.
