I bought a 2002 Jeep Wrangler in May 2019. I live 3 hours away from the dealer so before I made the trip I asked them about frame rust as it’s a common problem with the TJ model Wrangler. They assured me their body man had inspected the frame and found only superficial rust and applied a full undercoating to the vehicle and there were no problems so I made the trip to Memphis.
