I am surprised to see these negative reviews. I did not find him condescending at all, he answered my many questions thoroughly. I am female, and felt no issue based on gender. I find his approach to my fairly complicated surgical case to be reassuring, and thorough. I feel like I will be in very good hands.
I felt off when he quickly recommending tonsillectomy. I told him I was terrified to die during surgery, and he said he’s done over 20k tonsillectomies with no issue. Very eerie. Look it up, inform yourself and find a different doctor. Especially if you need surgery.
He treated my ear issue, but he was condescending and patronizing. I felt a distinct lack of respect. I'm an adult woman and a professional in my 40s, but he treated me as if I was a fretful little girl. It was a weird and frustrating experience.

Dr. Pearlstein couldn't figure out my issue (which was diagnosed by another provider a few short weeks later) Instead, he sent an email without my consent to my PCP saying I needed an RX for my mental stability. I specifically denied any sharing of my information when I became his patient but it was done anyway. Would he have done this if I was a male patient? As a female, I can't recommend Dr. Pearlstein.
Reading the other reviews we were concerned, but this doctor was spectacular. His bed side manner was amazing and he brought pure calmness to my wife and I. Would highly recommend this doctor!
Treated - severe nosebleeds. surgery and follow up treatment was excellant
He was my mother’s provider and saved her life 20+ years ago. I asked my pcp to refer me to him for an ent issue and found he had moved to Arizona. While I’m happy for him & his family, I’m sad I won’t be able to have his more than competent medical care. He is by far the most knowledgeable and honest physician I’ve had the pleasure to meet. Appointment was rushed, I felt as if I could not get my concerns adequately addressed. He overlooked an issue that I had to get addressed properly elsewhere.
