This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at an eye doctor—and I’ve been to many eye doctors. I showed up with insurance and was charged over $100 upfront before any exams which was an exam for glasses and contacts. I have never had to pay before an appointment, especially not that much when my insurance typically covers at least most of the exam. After the exam, I was directed to look at glasses but had to practically beg for assistance. When I finally received help from Kim Woods, I felt rushed and pushed toward a pair... read more

Very poor experience. I understand that ultimately they are a business so they are here to make money and that's all they care about, but you're also an eye doctor. People come to you because they CANT SEE. They're not here because they want to be, they're here because they have to be, and to take every opportunity to make as much money off of them as possible is honestly kind of disgusting. Before my appointment I was sent a link to fill out a form to make check-in go faster. On the form it says there is an optional servic... read more
I usually get my glasses at my Doctor's office, but not in network with new insurance. The exam was covered, but had to go to Pearl Vision for glasses. I was disappointed, but they had a good selection. When my glasses came in they didn't fit right and they made my vision worse than old glasses. I wore them for a week to make sure and it was obvious they weren't going to work. This is when I started working with Nicole. Pearl Vision and my Dr. checked my script and it was correct. 2 exams later and a new pair of glasses an... read more
if i could give this place 0 stars i would. One is the exam was ok and the frames was priced pretty high. When the front desk person was putting in my info for the frame i chose and fitted for the frame. i asked what was covered by my insurance which is VSP and was suppose to cove progressive lenses with AR included. But when i finished it was 304.00. the other person that was on my VSP coverage got charged 240.00. At first i was trying to understand why i was being charged this amount if my insurance covered the lenses and ... read more
Today I went to pick up my glasses I had ordered in December. after waiting almost 6 weeks. when I first ordered my glasses, that same gentleman was in a hurry to leave the shop supposedly he is the store manager and thinks he could do whatever he wants and decided he wanted to leave early so he took the order and said I could come at a later date to exam my eyes. well he denied it all today.. Sadly the doctor of this parti location was standing by the register and witnessed his rude manager treating a customer si poorly and... read more

I had badly bent my glasses. I stopped into to Pearle Vision in Strongsville, OH and was greeted by Amal. She and Darryl were very gracious and were able to repair my eyewear and in minutes I was on my way. Great job! Thank you very much for your courtesy and expertise. John M
***CONSUMER BEWARE*** Pearl Vision will ask for your medical insurance information when you come to your visit…DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. I came for an annual checkup and paid my vision copay. The doctor gave me medicine that I had an allergic reaction to. He said to stop back in to check on the reaction, which I did (about 15 minute visit). And Pearl Vision then turned around and billed my medical insurance which they are billing me a whole separate deductible for. I asked them to reconsider the charges and they refused. Dr ... read more
had my RIGHT lens crack, and needed it to be replaced. I called for two months (January-March) before someone at the office would actually order the lens. Once the fixed RIGHT lens came in, I went to get it replaced. They replaced BOTH the left lens and the right lens. Two different prescription lenses were put in my frames. I have specialty lenses and require prisms in my lenses in BOTH eyes. I currently only have ONE lens with prisms, the right side. The left lens does not have prisms. The left lens was fine and did not ne... read more
