Best Italian risotto so far... – Very good restaurant in Bellevue. I'm Italian and when my friends suggested risotto I wasn't sur eit was a good idea...It is nor easy to find a chef around Seattle that can produce a creamy risotto using Arborio rice! They did! It was perfect! Even the use of wine was absolutely impeccable in the dish (sometimes chefs around here thinks that since this is an Italian dish you have to get drunk eating it!!!). Highly recommended!!

Ultimate! – The new Halibut dish at Pearl Bar & Dining in Bellevue promises several of my favorite things and delivers on most. The cut of fish is substantial, thick and moist; it takes to the pan roasting well. Too often there is a negative association with the brussel sprout, Chef Bradley Dickinson has carefully separated the leaves of this delicate veg revealing it’s tenacious spirit, lending a bright reflection; to the delicate flake of the halibut both are complimented by a silky sauce and rendered bacon crisps. The Foi... read more

Great place to meet – I have been here 6 or 7 times and never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and efficient (even pretty good during a busy Saturday evening). The cocktails are great, martinis are great and I have been told that the whisky sour is really good by two different friends. I have tried several appetizers, I really like the prawns and the calamari- perhaps the calamari could have used more sauce to dip- The servers are alway pleasant- and the support staff seems to always have a smile and are attentive... read more

Great Happy Hour- Better Dinner in all of Bellevue – Pearl Bar and Dining is one of the best places in all of Bellevue and Seattle! It accomidates everyone, they have a fabulous Happy Hour if your looking to not spend a ton of money but want quality food, this is the place for you. They have a wonderful selection of food on Happy hour ranging from crab cakes ( like 95% crab meat, it was outstanding) Savory chicken, yummy chicken with big white beans and a savory sauce, and my favorite the pork sliders, you get 3 of them for ... read more

Overpriced and Underperformed – My first impression upon entering was that I had entered a funeral home. Dark, cold and quiet. Nothing about the ambience said cozy or exciting. Metallic grey walls looked as if they hadnt been finished when completing the restaurant. Possibly due to the slow economy? Who knows. What I do know is that they charge a hefty amount for food that is substandard and unexciting. $20+ dollars for chicken and fries. At that price it had better be the best that I have ever had, and it wasnt. Fries were ... read more

Great spot on the eastside, good drinks and food – Met a friend here on a Tues. night to celebrate. We got 3 of their small bites (ahi tuna-AMAZING!, shrimp and vegetable tempura - very good, crab cake - lots of fresh lump crab meat), 2 desserts (white chocolate banana cream - yumm and triple chocolate - very rich, need to share this one), 5 cocktails (strawberry mojito, shiso wild drop - both drinks were excellent!) all for $113!! The food was all very good and before we got our food we were drooling over the smell of other... read more
