Looking for a 2 bedroom apt Hi - I am looking for a two bedroom apt that includes water and atleast 1 utility. I have a 12 year old son and 5 lb. yorkie who is very well potty trained. i am looking to get out of the place I am in now ASAP. Amherst/Williamsville Apartments are MUCH NICER When I moved back to the Buffalo area, I looked at Pearce & Pearce's "townhouses" in Kenmore on Highland and their apartments and townhouses in Amherst/technically Williamsville. I was not impressed with the townhouses on Highland. They smelled funny and seemed to be a step up from living in the projects. Nice Affordable Rentals in Good Neighborhood They don't make you pay a security, nor last month. You just have to have first months rent when you sign your lease. The duplexes they rent in Tonawanda are a place to live, and if you're on a limited income, they'll do. They're clean, small and affordable, if you can stand the nasty neighbors and loud music, and constant fighting over parking spaces. What a joke these people are... The neighborhood was nice when I moved in 3 years ago. Now you have teenagers hanging out everywhere - parents who don't supervise their kids activities at all, more and more violence. When I lived there, my tires were slashed... and recently my boyfriend was beaten up by a guy twice his size so badly that he couldn't even see out of his eye, and may not ever see out of it again. Good Rental Rates, Neighborhood Heading in a Bad Direction Lived in their Lincoln Park Duplexes for 1 year. Rent was reasonable, maintenance was OK, and there was a move-in special discount. Units are all identical (mirrored) and you don't see your actual unit when previewing the apartment (demo unit). 2 of 3 bedrooms are extremely small. Kitchen small, medium sized living room and shared basement (w/ laundry hookups). You have to mow your own lawn and shovel your shared driveway, sidewalk.
