This review has taken me a long time to write because I’ve tried hard to block the events surrounding the birth of my first child. Both my husband and I are healthcare professionals, which adds important context to our experience. I started seeing Sheena Harmon for gynecological care in 2022 and continued with her when I got pregnant in 2023. She was always kind, responsive, and respectful. Dr. Roberts is the best OB/GYN I have ever had and I am SO disappointed to have to leave. But within the last several months it's been impossible trying to get in touch with anyone on the medical team. I have stuck with this doctor in spite of moving an hour from the office. He has kept me from having two major surgeries. I think the doctors are good. I think the people behind the scenes are struggling. They are in the middle of a lot of transitions I couldn't hang around any longer while they figure things out.
Dr. Roberts is a great doctor, however his office manager is the reason that I left. During the pandemic, the first communication that I received was a text message at 6PM stating that I owed $50 for missing an appointment. After checking my calendar, voicemails, text and emails in which I found no appointments or previous communications from their office. I think he's a great doctor and surgeon. He seems like a genuinely nice and caring person. Also I have had surgery with him and the results helped me tremendously. I never really wanted a male obgyn but I'm thankful my previous primary care physician referred me to him. He's one of the great ones!
