Dr Cummins was so warm and friendly. I felt HEARD! She didn’t try to dismiss my concerns with other methods, she actually listened.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. We were serviced at the scheduled appointment time. Dr Cummins was very impressive.
Dr. Metcalfe came so highly recommended, and after meeting with him and hos PA, Natalie, I understand why. Even though I'm going through a tough time with a recent cancer diagnosis, I left their office feeling joyful and confident in my decision about surgery. They took the time to lay out all my options and explore each one. I'm very grateful to have them on my medical team.
Breast cancer patient. After mastectomy, I was told reconstruction would occur in ~3 months. I planned accordingly for months. When it was finally time to schedule, a nurse called saying DIEP “was not covered” and suggested implants. My insurer later confirmed no prior authorization had ever been submitted. Billing then stated marketplace plans “don’t cover DIEP” and refused to file PA due to coding issues. Dr. Ma is the best doctor and surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. She never brushes anything under the rug, genuinely takes pride in her job (which I find is very rare in this industry), she wants her clients to be happy and she follows through. I will be referring everyone I know to her professionally and personally. No matter where you are in the country she is well worth the flight or drive.
