This school is beyond amazing and I’ll have a hard time trying to put into words how much I appreciate this school and what they have done for my 3 boys but I will give it my best try. 4 years ago my oldest son Braxton (he was 3 years old at that time) was approved to go into public schools ( Braxton is non verbal and has autism) so we were in the middle of trying that when we got the call from PxP asking if we would like to have Braxton join. Both are my girls with Down syndrome attend this school for over three years now and they love it. They used regular school and they were doing terrible both of them were speechless and they had really bad behavior problems thanks to peace by piece their behavior has in proved and they are talking now.
I have tried calling, emailing, and sending them requests for therapy forms on their website with a refferal from my child’s neurologist to be seen and this program has ignored me. I felt that they would be caring since they are suppose to help children with special needs, but I was wrong. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. I have heard great things and not so great things from people who have kids in this school... My daughter is autistic, this sounded like a perfect place for her. But, I tried for a week to contact somebody, ANYBODY from this school for info. I tried multiple emails to multiple people , phone calls, and tried to come in. They obviously dont seem very open or forthcoming.
