RecommendedI just had my over-the-phone intake as a new patient, it's a little nerve-wracking being a new patient somewhere to get familiar with your providers. I just want to say that Allison on the phone why is extremely professional, polite and pleasant. so needless to say, she provided my first impression of pchc, and she represented her employer extremely well. This is by far the worse place I have been to for medical needs showed up at 845 got a room by 855 never seen a doctor waited for an hour no one could have come in to tell me it would be a little longer then when I asked the nurse what was up I got no response this place sucks badly . Can honestly say that I have never been to a pchc office Bangor or Brewer that truly helped me with any of my medical needs HORRIBLE SERVICE
I was skeptical to go because I have heard about the long wait times some people have had but I knew the ER could be much worse. I was told there were 6 people ahead of me so I figured an hour wait easily, Turned out I only waited 20 mins to get in a room and about 15mins after to see a dr.including getting new patient paperwork filled out. I knew I needed x-rays and they could do them there, my own pcp can't do them at her office which would have meant and ER visit I was trying to avoid. If I could give anything lower than 0 I would. This is the absolute worst medical practice I've ever been to in my life. To keep it very short my visit included a 4+ hour wait, eye rolling, and laughing in my face at a concern, and much more. My entire visit was completely appalling. I just can't even believe it.
Huge shout out to Janelle Hazzard and her MA’s Monday night my brother went in with what he though was a horrific sunburn and turned out to be a chemical burn. After his PCP in our town told him to apply aloe.... He was so pleased with the staff and highly recommends Brewer walk in! I went in Tuesday with a horrible sinus/chest congestion. Janelle had me in and out and meds sent to the pharmacy in under an hour and made sure I was breathing better and had everything I needed and was all set before I left. So pleased that my daughter was able to be seen last night. Zak was very friendly and she felt very comfortable with him. We weren't able to get to Hannaford for the pharmacy, but the PCHC pharmacy was able to pull some strings and get her the medicine she needed. Thank you so much!
