Took my laptop for a DC jack repair. When I got it back all of my information was gone. Someone accidentally reset my system and went so far as to re install windows and set up my profile with the password I had provided them when I dropped it off. But nothing else. PC Solutions has been basically the IT department for the small business I work for in Chicago, IL for years. They are our go-to team to help us with all types of computer and tech related issues. I find that any staff that I interact with are helpful and resourceful. We most often work with Matt and he has gone above and beyond what any other company would so many times I've lost count. Honestly, this place was pretty terrible. I self-diagnosed my machine with a very obvious error indicator. My power light was flashing when my laptop was plugged in, which means that the power jack is faulty. So I bring it in and ask them to replace my power jack. Their price for this was steep ($150 + fees), and on top of that I had to pay for them to tear my laptop apart and do a diagnostic ($50). They call me back a week later (pretty long wait) and tell me that my Motherboard is bad, and that's $300 to replace. I don't k... read more
