I have been with Paychex for over 20 years and they just dont seem to care about small businesses. I have 5 employees and they consistently miss pay periods, to the point they even lied about the courier delivering checks, their system says they were delivered but in fact they were 2 days late! Paychex doesnt care about small businesses. I have been abused long enough!
Paychex 401k doesn't follow up, you get to be left alone in the dark - they give you personal attention on the sign-in stages, and then you have to deal with a call center with random representatives who have different information some know what they are talking about and some don't. Therefore, no personal attention whats or ever and you left to your own devices to figure it out. they don't take any responsibility and don't answer emails for support unless you send a few reminders that you need answers, and if they do answer... read more
Beware of signing up with Paychex, especially when it comes to HR, Benefits, or Retirement Services. They're fees never stop increasing and their cancelation fees are undisclosed and astronomical, but the fine print let's them charge whatever they want. You will NOT get your money's worth from this company. These 5 star reviews are drastically overstated. Look at every other consumer website about them. She thoroughly reviewed our account to determine what services we may not need to lower our invoice each payroll.
