Absolutely the worst experience in such a delicate time!! Our male Husky passed away on February 22, 2024. We brought him to Paws, Whiskers, and Wags in Decatur to have him cremated. Upon going through everything we were quoted our pricing which really wasn’t an issue. I didn’t expect a really quick turn around time, all I honestly expected was this matter to be handled with empathy and care. Lost my 6 year old cat Kleo on Friday morning march 22nd, and they were able to take her the same afternoon. Everyone was extremely calm and nice to me. They respected Kleo and any decisions/questions I had. The place was clean, private and quiet. She was ready Monday morning and I was happy and sad on the ride back home. To all future Paws, Whiskers and Wags families: My dog Cookie was one the dearest treasures in my life for 16 years. When Cookie passed I was traumatized. I called many crematory services and I stopped when I met Elijah. Elijah immediately became a part of my family and I entrusted him with my cookie and I knew he would take special care of her and he did just that. I have used Paws Whiskers & Wags for several of my babies over the years. Each time I used their services I was met with caring and compassionate staff who provided excellent customer service. My pets were handled with true care and dignity, services were handled promptly and received the same excellent customer service when the remains were returned to me.
