I had an appointment today 10/08/2026 at highlands animal care at 2:30 pm. I had a very disappointing visit with Dr. Dana Amster. We waited for her over 20 minutes , and when she came in she made zero attempt to greet or comfort my scared puppy 1.5-year-old Pomsky (27 lbs). She struggled for 3 minutes to put a muzzle on her, then said we’d have to reschedule because of "safety reasons." As a human doctor, navigating healthcare for humans is hard enough in Las Vegas. For dogs? An absolute nightmare. I’ve been bringing my dogs here for the past year, and the care at PAWS Health Partners has been exceptional. Every doctor and technician is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely invested in the pets. They take the time to answer questions thoroughly, never make you feel rushed, and even provide a detailed report card after each visit, which I really appreciate.
