Anita I enjoy going to this store regularly to buy jewelry. They have a great selection of pieces in all price ranges, are very knowledgable, and are fair with pricing. It's like shopping down in the diamond district-they even have a GIA certified employee on site! The few times I've been stuck, I've pawned a few pieces and the employees are all really helpful and nice. They do a good job trying to change the image of this business and I highly recommend them.
A lender in a time of need When I had a totally unexpected and devastating financial emergency that has affected me for months, this business made it possible for me to pay a couple of crucial big bills. I never thought I'd have to "resort" to a pawn shop but they made it easy for me to get cash when my credit score was affected and I couldn't get equity out of my own home. dave t. is highly uneducated Had Dave used the correct method in trying to regain his property, instead of spouting obsceneties at the employees in front of other customers and flat out STEALING from the store, maybe the staff would have been less grouchy and more inclined to look you in the face. Beware of this pawn shop!!!! Basically this place is a depository of stolen goods servicing the local criminal element and drug addicts on there way down the ladder of success...run by a bunch of grouchy creeps who won't look you in the eye and an owner who never shows his face. It is a real blight on an otherwise lovely neighborhood.And it is all run above board with the blessing of the Ventura Police...i personally reported a theft after finding my property in this store..only to be informed the burden of proof rests on me... read more
