My brother an i were in Columbia for business up from savannah yesterday...it was lunch time and we sat at the bar the young lady was attentive and thorough...the burgers were cooked to a perfect mid-rare as we ordered and the pasta salad was great and the fresh fries were crispy and everything was hot...the burgers probably took longer than they would at a chain like Chili's but that's ok...as a classically french trained chef i understand the cook times longer on a fresh and high quality product...we will definitely be bac... read more
Just went there today. For a place that prides itself on fresh ground beef daily why would you ruin that by over seasoning. There was so much salt in the beef I couldn't taste anything. My gf sent hers back to be removed from the bill, I struggled through half. Keep it simple fresh grind, don't season, and keep your variety of buns. The over salting really put me off, I had high hopes.

Food was great but I wished they would have turned the air on! �
For starters, my hamburger bun was SO soggy. There was really no bun at all. Also, the seats are torn and cracked to the point where it's painful to sit on if you're wearing shorts. The only thing I enjoyed was the margarita since it helped to numb the pain cause by the seat.

the restaurant is poorly cleaned, tables and booths were sticky and had an odor. my burger was probably the dryest I've ever eaten and my girlfriends was very greasy and the fries and buns were soggy. I know we sound picky but we really wanted to enjoy it but unfortunately would have faired better at a fast food stop. margarita was ok tho

We were in tonight for our second visit. (The first was in April during a college tour) The food was fantastic again. The burgers are perfectly done and the fries are delicious, too. We actually had the same server both times - Megan. She was very attentive and personable. I highly recommend Pawleys to anyone looking for a fantastic meal while in Columbia.

Neat place, but burgers are different cuts of meat so not like eating normal burger and wasn’t our favorite.
