Dr. Pawel Jankowski is an amazing neurosurgeon. I was hesitant to get back surgery but I’m so glad I did it. It’s been life changing for me and my family. I’m so happy I chose him to do my spinal fusion (T2-T11). He went over and beyond, from a 6 hour surgery that turned into a 12 hour surgery. After interviewing a handful of surgeons I selected Dr. Jankowski because the complications and projected length of the surgery to address all my problems did not deter him. He ran into a tumor not on any of the scans that was inside and outside of my spine. He took care of it all as we discussed I wanted a "one and done surgery". The surgery extended to 14 hours instead of 6-8. I believe many other surgeons would have not gone the extra hours and would have said next time. I went to Dr. Janskowski for a second opinion for my cervical fracture. I was able to get an appointment fairly quick. My fear and anxiety about the surgery was quickly diminished after he explained my condition and the surgery plan. His knowledge and confidence gave me a sense of relief. I trust him completely.
