Convenient area to live in close to the lake and High Park, and the building exterior is kept clean by management, however the building itself is infested with cockroaches and ants, and management refuses to address the issue building-wide. They are willing to treat a few units at a time, but will not address the root of the problem, and so the cockroaches will always come back, no matter how clean you keep your apartment. Good general area to live in, walking distance to both King and Queen West and a Nofrills is just steps away. But as a current resident, that's the only positive here. The worst part is the building is full of mice and roaches, and every apartment is affected. I think it's the way this old building was made, the walls and the floor haven't been sealed properly and the roaches keep coming back a few days after pest control.
