This man is incredible. Sessions with him are worth every penny and more. Only junk is cheap! He is straight-forward, direct, intelligent, compassionate and a genuine bad ass in the mental health field! Highly recommend!
The person who stated he is a “quack” clearly did not do his homework on Dr. Somov. And one session of 50 minutes is not enough time to evaluate the experience. Such an odd review from that person, but in therapy there can be high expectations not met in one session— and, sometimes people just don’t “click”. This man and EMDR changed my life...
Blatantly incompetent, self centered and lacking in knowledge of treatment modalities and ways to offer help. Cashing in on the popularity of mindfulness but not engaging in it or offering self. Froze when I told him I work in mental health then started to stumble like he had just been found out as a quack, which h is about right. Rude as a person. Among the worst experiences I've had.
