RecommendedWent for a road trip from South Bend, Indiana just for dinner at Paula's. Never been there before- it was MORE then worth the drive! BEST seafood I've ever had!!! Muscles we're cooked to perfection with a delicious spicy tomato sauce. The king krab legs we're the biggest and best I've ever had! Grouper was also delicious with a wonderful asian inspired crust on the outside paired with a sweet sauce. Cocktails we're perfect! Service was extremely friendly. We'll be back! Seated after reservation time and after people with same reservation size whose reservation time was later, (who came in after us). Our server didn’t bring us bread until we asked, and no pepper for dishes when we noticed it was happening elsewhere. We had three people, and my dish was very cold (filet). I hate asking for these types of things to be taken back, but for the price I did. The server was nice and took care of it. Had an amazing dinner with the wifey! Food was excellent and super friendly staff!!
My husband and I went there for the first time last night. We had the almond crusted walleye and perch… Both were amazing. Then we shared a piece of Key lime pie ... it was also superb. Our server was Karen and she was by far the best waitress I have ever had. The restaurant atmosphere, service and food was beyond excellent. Paula’s is now our favorite place to have a nice meal.

Clam chowder is out of this world! All the food was terrific, and the service is great. Nice old fashioned atmosphere.
We went last night for a birthday. They had a complimentary crème brûlée and it was absolutely phenomenal. They made me a special salad that was sincerely the best chicken Caesar salad I’ve ever eaten. Everyone’s seafood dishes looked divine! The waiter was fantastic, so polite and accommodating!
Fabulous food, very relaxed atmosphere, perfect service from Sarah. The Calamari appetizer was wonderful, our Lobster (grilled, not steamed or boiled), Scallops, and Crab Cakes were EXCELLENT!! Lots of fun Martinis here. Took home Crab Legs and Lake Perch to make at home. All of it was an excellent value, too. My Chicago-born wife said it was the best dinner she has had in years! We'll be back!!
