If you are pregnant and looking for a new doctor, please stay away from Dr. Whitman. My daughter had been seeing him since she found out she was pregnant, and back in May, when she was at 12 weeks, he told her the baby had died, and that her body would just have to pass it naturally. I have had the BEST experience with Dr. Whitham. He has taken all of my anxieties seriously, talked me through them and listened to every question at every appointment I had with open ears. I never felt rushed. He is very kind and educated and I felt very safe in he & his teams care. I absolutely recommend.
I strongly do not recommend for women under 50 who struggle with menstrual problems. When I went to see him he told me I was just stressed out and needed therapy…ALL 3 times. He didn’t do an exam, he didn’t care about my symptoms, he just brushed me off his shoulder. 3 years later another doctor seen my symptoms and told me there was NO way this could be normal and I’m not crazy. Great doctor! He was VBAC friendly (first 2 births natural, 3rd C-section) and did everything he could to make it happen… and it did! I always felt confident in his care.
