Two of my kids had braces done by him and yes the same result. Their teeth rotted under the braces and he did not even notice and then he took the braces off prematurely for them to get filling and dental work by another dentist. He claimed that my kids violated the contract by not practicing good dental hygene, eventhough he was seeing them every month ... Off course, he was already paid in full by then. I would not recommend him.
Dr Phang's office is awesome! They are so accomodating to kids and their working parents. Dr Phang explains everything up front including cost! He doesn't like surprises and is great with the kids. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area and I have 1 in treatment and 2 right behind her.
