Today, I went in to be a model for “texture hair day.” Only to receive no hair products that caters to textured 4C hair. The stylist, was amazing in the things that was provided for her. However, my hair looked like my 3 year old did it due to the lack of products for my hair type. Even to the instructor had little to no knowledge on how to properly take care of my kinky hair. Please do not ever trust this school with your hair. I came in for a simple trim and blow out since I have a work party tonight. My hair looks atrocious- frizzy and poofy. I look like a poddle. The girl didnt use a round brush or a diffuser while drying my hair. I'm in tears right now. I may need to cancel my plans because theres no time to fix this mess before the party.
RecommendedI was concerned to go to Paul Mitchell after some of the reviews I saw before going but I ended up going anyway. I'm glad I did! Jillian did such a good job with the color. I brought in a picture of a color I liked but told her I'd like it a tad darker and my color came out exactly as I wanted. Glad I didn't skip the appointment.
