Dr. Melaragno was very good at selling knee surgery, answering all questions and describing protection against infection during surgery. After experiencing negative effects from his poor recommendations for aftercare, I felt I was dismissed on my last visit. He seemed unwilling to look any further for help for me. Dr. Melaragno may be an expert on knee replacement but terrible at solving after surgery treatment. He has a very narrow focus on performing knee replacement and not solving problems after surgery.

Dr Melaragno is the best. He is very knowledgeable and understanding of your concerns. He never pushes surgery but always makes sure you understand the facts. He has replaced both of my knees over a six year period. I wouldn’t have gone to anyone else. His PA Brian Hollingsworth and receptionist Tammy are outstanding. A great working team ready to help with questions and concerns.

Dr. Melaragno recently performed a full knee replacement on me. We met before the surgery, he explained his plan, he asked questions (and answered mine) and listened. I am still recovering, but it is already clear the results will bypass my other knee (different surgeon, 5 years ago). Team responded quickly to my questions off hours. If I had a third knee, I would also entrust it to Dr. Melaragno.
I had a full knee replacement in 2015 on my left knee and now I had a full knee replacement on my right knee in 2023. Both were done by Dr Melaragno. The doctor and his staff are great. I would recommend him for a total knee replacement. The doctor and his staff are very caring about your situation and are there to help
Dr. Mel replaced both knees in July and November. He is fantastic in every way. His whole staff is to be commended. I love that he explained everything and never rushed me in his office. I recommend him most highly! I’m so pleased. Thank you!
Dr Melaragno has done one total hip replacement and 2 total knee replacement. Very good bedside manner. Explains well. Easy to talk to. He cares about his patients and listens to them. You won't be sorry choosing him to do your surgery.
