The day Dr Maertens walked into my son’s hospital room our lives changed. For three years, I watched my son’s health decline. We had been hitting a brick wall with all the doctors in Pensacola and not getting any relief. Laughed in my face sat in the room with me while my daughter was fighting for her life googling things she could take I couldn’t believe it he have no idea what is wrong with her
I love this doctor. He is personable, explains causes and effects in easy to understand terms. He also will sit down in the room with you making you feel important, he listens to the my baby and myself. He actually showed and explained an EEG for my son so I had understanding of his disorder. I greatly appreciate him and what he is doing for my son. Thank you doctor!
This man saved my child's life. Dr. Maertens was the only doctor that would listen and would try. My son aged out of his care some years ago. We sure do miss him and his knowledge.
Would give a zero but it won't allow... Horrible experience- It's been 3 weeks since my daughter had a MRI and we still haven't heard from him- his staff just says "we'll give him the message"; he's in clinics every day"... it was escalated and we heard from from one of the office managers- but we have yet to receive the actual final report of findings...
