Paul Kohn approaches the complexities of mental health with compassion, realism, and scientific rationale. While the external trappings of his slightly messy office and two friendly pups might cause some to doubt him, I have found his care to be effective and helpful. He is also very conscientious about the cost of care and seeks to make this as reasonable as possible. Paul Kohn did not help my husband. He seems to be intent on medicating to the max, and has a closet full of medications in his office from pharmaceuitcals. He tried several different cocktails of medications over the year that he treated my husband, including giving him antipsychotic meds in his office and telling him to take them right there. He did absolutely no education about the mental illness, which requires steady lifestyle management and therapy, not just medications. This resulted in my husband going off his meds (h... read more
