Dr. Ratzker performed surgery at Carewell Health. He was wonderful. He spoke to me and my family in ways that we understood. After surgery went out to speak with my wife with updates on my surgery. Doctors like this are hard to find. Very happy with my surgery and everything he has done for me and my family.

Dr Ratzker treated my aunt who fell and fractured her neck. My aunt was not a candidate for surgery but Dr Ratzker continued to manage her recovery through office visits. He was honest with my aunt about her prognosis. Dr Ratzker explains things in simple language to his patients. The office staff is friendly and efficient - especially Nicole.
I had a fractured neck and Dr. Ratzker performed Fusion Surgery on me. I feel his skills are 1st rate. I found Dr. Ratzker to be very personable, he answered all of my questions and he allowed my girlfriend to facetime 1 of my visits when she could not join me. I found the Office Staff to be very friendly and professional. I dealt mostly with Nicole and I thought her to be outstanding. Anything that I needed done she took care of promptly. I would highly recommend Dr. Ratzker and his staff.
Dr. Ratzker is a very excellent and professional surgeon. He has been very detailed and precise with everything he needed to do for my treatment and cervical surgery from the start and continues to provide treatment for my full recovery. His staff is very friendly and professional and have been on point with anything the doctor needs me to do. I can highly recommend Dr. Ratzker to anyone who is in looking for a surgeon. Dr. Paul Ratzker was wonderful. My first initial visit with him was honest. He answered all of my questions and step-by-step, he told me the cause of my pain, the procedure he suggested regarding C4-C5-C6-C7, the recovery time and my movement and pain probability after the surgery. Dr. Ratzker is a knowledgeable and caring surgeon. He is thorough and precise. He explains everything and when asked “what would you do if this was your family member”, there is no hesitation in his response. His care for my aunt during her stroke, was exceptional - he treated her as he would any member of his family. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a great Neurosurgeon.
