Dr. Fragner is down-to-earth, understanding and has the patience of a saint. I initially saw him for cortisone injections in my right thumb basal joint; when I asked about surgical options he explained them thoroughly and didn't pressure me. Although I was initially afraid, after many cortisone injections I decided to proceed with surgery November 5. Have basal joint arthritis. Went for cortisone shots in my wrists. I have had similar shots in both feet, hip, back and shoulder, never with any pain. I say this because I had great expectations when I arrived. As I was asking the dr about aftercare, or more likely how soon I could play golf! Aside from sarcasm, there was no discernible response. Dr Fragner treated my daughter with the absolute best possible care. His bedside manner was calm and reassuring and his expertise and experience was front and center at every visit. Likewise his entire staff was amazing. I highly recommend him without any reservations.

We had a 9:45 appt. We were in an examining room at about 9:55 and a assistant came in at about 10:00. And then we waited, and waited and waited. At about 10:45 I asked about the wait and was told the doctor would be with us soon. And we waited , and waited and waited. At 11:15 (an hour an a half from our appt) we left - never to come back. At no time during our wait did any one come in to tell us anything - how patient unfriendly.

I had surgery with Dr. Fragner earlier this year and have regained all the range of motion in my wrist as promised. Aside from being an excellent surgeon, him and his team (Lois, Meg) made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. Would recommend him and his partners!

I have been to Dr. Fragner for two different issues. He performed surgery on my thumb a few years ago. As a surgeon, I was very careful to pick the best hand surgeon I could find. Dr. .Fragner fit that bill. I also had a brief issue with "golfer's elbow" that he was very helpful with. He even met me on his own personal time, given that we are both busy professionals, to examine and treat me. So, whenever someone asks me for a referral to a hand surgeon, it's Dr. Fragner hands down (no pun intended).
