Dr.Townsend is one of the best hand and arm specialist I've ever had the pleasure to see. He fixed my arm 14 years ago and didn't a wonderful job and I was able to return to a job I love. Thank you Dr.Townsend and staff wonderful experience and I'd always come back to you if I ever needed too.
Very knowledgeable. Straightforward explanations of your condition & explains your condition with words that the patient can understand. Very matter of fact person.
This doctor and staff will be your best friends until they get your surgery scheduled and they make the big bucks. Then trying to get in with post-operative concerns is impossible. You will get a nurse practitioner who won't be able to answer any questions, or you will wait hours (yes, hours) to see Dr. Townsend who will be rushed and unhelpful. It is like buying a car at this place, once you are 'out of warranty', they don't care about you. Now starting with a new hand specialist
I have been a patient of Dr. Kupcha's as well as working with him in the medical field for many years. I have seen him with patients and he appears to have a good rapor with them I know of people he has treated and they all speak very highly of him. I have found; My appointments are not rushed, He does listen when you talk, He is pleasant and friendly. I do hope patients with an orthopedic problem would come and meet him and have him evaluate them. Gratefully Christine Serio
Dr. Townsend operated on my wrist and repaired the carpal tunnel. He did a great job and I feel so much better now! Spent time talking with me about the procedure and answering my questions.

I live in New Jersey but Dr Kupcha was recommended by a coworker who had knee surgery. Im glad I took her advice. It was worth the drive. He took his time and made sure I understood everything he was telling me.
I developed a mass in my foot and went to see Dr. Kupcha. He told me that I needed surgery and that he would be able to perform the procedure ASAP. His staff including Nancy, Geary and Mark not only made the arrangements smooth and seamlessly, but their individual follow up both was friendly and professional. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend Dr. Kupcha and his entire staff.
