Recently underwent PTTD repair. Services rendered when very perfessional and comprehensive. First post- op visit went very well as all visits have been. The entire staff was patient friendly and caring. I would like to especially thank Geary the PA and Mark the OPT for their professionalism. Dr. Kupcha leads by example and it it evident by his staff approach to patient care.
This doctor's office is the epitome of a professional office. From the person who signs you in to the staff to Dr. Kupcha. Everyone makes you feel welcomed. I have been a patient now for 3 years and they consistently treat me in a professional and friendly manner.
Over charges for medical devices. Up to 7X the worth of the device. Not necessary to do that when you are heavily compensated by your office visit fees and surgical fees. When you need an emergency operation, you get who you get. Don't ask them to copy something relating to your injury, you will be denied. I prefer kinder people to deal with, hopefully I won't be back to their offices ever again.
I chose Dr. Kupcha to perform elective surgery on my little toe since it had been broken so many times. He shaved off some of the bone and fixed the tendon. It was a good experience. I felt no pain after the surgery, nor during the two weeks that I had to wear the bandage until I had my stitches removed. Dr. Kupcha and his assistant were very thorough, professional and kind.
I went to Dr. Kupcha to get a second opinion concerning my ankle (2 torn tendons, 2 severed ligaments). The physical exam was abrupt. He then looked at the skeletal ultrasound which he said he normally does not see very often and he expressed confusion in the images. I explained I could not get an MRI as I have a pacemaker. He then read the radiology report. Afterward, he said the surgery was up to me, gave my wife and me the telephone number of his surgical scheduler and walked out.
Dr. Kupcha is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. His expertise and commitment to get me mobile again was life changing for me. I highly recommend him and all surgeons from DOS.
I have a lot of confidence in Delortho physicians. They treat you like an individual. They do not appear rushed. The PA compliments the process by spending more time and answering questions and demonstrating exercises and confirming understanding. This is in direct contrast to the other large Delaware orthopedic practice where you are not treated as an individual and you always feel rushed.
I wanted to say thanks to Dr. Kupcha and his 2 physician assistants, Mike and Geary for taking care of me for the second time. Dr. Kupcha performed bilateral bunionectomys on me. The results of the out patient surgical procedures were perfect. I have not experienced any pain since having the procedures done. I highly recommend Dr. Kupcha to anyone experiencing foot and ankle pain.
Dr. Kupcha is wonderful. I recently had the good fortune of meeting him and his SUPER med-tech Mark about my aging feet. He was thorough and efficient and made me feel so much better about the issue I am experiencing. I was especially thrilled that he didn't seem to want to rush to invasive measures. The office staff was amazing too. The wait was lightening fast and the x-rays I had taken at Papastavros were also so easy and fast! Dr. Kupcha and Mark are ROCK STARS just like everyone at DOC
