We have been with Emery for over 12 years and I always thought they were great. UNTIL they were bought by Shipley. Terrible customer service - harrassing and crazy finance charges that don't make sense. I'm looking for another oil company. This used to be a local community company. So sad.

I have been a customer with Paul Emery Oil Co. for nearly two years. With each delivery, I order a full tank of oil. The woman that answers customer calls is pleasant, informative, and professional. I have never had an ISSUE with the company ... until today. The magnitude of this issue is so SEVERE that I will NEVER place an order from this company again. As a longstanding customer I have always been pleased with this company. Since Emery's sold the business a few months ago, I have had nothing but grief with everyone from the receptionist to the delivery person. We received a delivery in January 2022 and paid the driver by check ($500+). Apparently, he did not fill the tank, as we are completely out of oil today (he was too busy complaining that he is a 'semi' driver, not a delivery man).
