My wife required colon surgery as a result of a large polyp being found during her colonoscopy. Dr G was very considerate and skillful and followed up daily following the surgery. All the personnel at St Mary's were very complimentary of his skills and concern for patients. i highly recommend him for colon surgery
He is not a talker, but he definitely knows what he is doing. All I will say is I went in with some apprehension, not knowing what to expect post surgery. He prepared me for the normal, told me what the worst would be, and we all hoped for the best. I do not think the outcome could have been any better.
I cannot say bad things about the doctor, but his staff is horrible. I have left so many messages and they do not know how to return calls. I was referred to him by my doctor. My doctor's office has called him and after about the 4th attempt, Dr. G finally returned the call. Once in and doing surgery, I cannot review... but concern about patients does not appear to be high on his staff's priority list. When I did meet him, he seemed fine, but getting to see him or even to have him return a call is almost impossible.
Dr G is a wonderful doctor and a skilled surgeon. He is kind, patient, a great listener, and takes his time with the patient. He is also considered the best by the OR staff.
Dr G. did an amazing job with my husband’s pre-op care, the operation itself, and post-operative care! He was very thorough, took his time explaining everything to us each time we met even staying with us until 7:30 on a Friday night (for 2.5 hours), and followed up with us every morning and evening after the surgery while in the hospital! I can only say good things, he took his time with me, did not make me feel rushed at all! He thoroughly explained the procedure. What to expect after, very prompt in returning phone calls! Beside manner is amazing! I would recommend him 1000 times over!
During my husband's routine Colonoscopy exam, a 3 cm tumor was found that could not be removed during the procedure. He was referred to Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital and we met with Dr. Ghaemmaghami. From the consultation to the surgery itself and then the hospital stay, Dr. G was the most kind and caring individual. I only checked five stars because I couldn't give ten. This doctor is a true professional who I highly recommend. Scheduling and courtesy of his staff was top notch. While sitting in the waiting room Dr. G personally came out and escorted me to his office for the consult. How rare is that? He spent almost 90 minutes with me going from A to Z, reviewed my MRI results and performed a physical exam. This man is amazing. He is very caring, patient, thorough, kind, and takes time to make you feel comfortable. He was called in to the er I visited and showed up right away and explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. He stayed there and waited for 5 hours until the or was free.
