Doctor Gardner is an amazing surgeon. He saved my sons life with his care and expertise. This man is a world class leader in Neurosurgery and we are grateful for his skill. Incredible person. He is extremely busy - people need to understand that while your waiting and he's delayed to your office time, he's probably saving someone's life - be respectful.
Dr Gardner was recommended to me in hopes he could repair an ongoing CSF leak. I've only seen him in person one time after waiting 3 hours past my appointment time. At that appointment the plan was for me to send him my most recent brain mri, (which I did a few days later.) In the meantime he was going to consult Dr. Agarwal to discuss further imaging and treatment. He assured me his office would be calling me soon. First appointment for my son we asked if he was going to do a pet scan. He said no because it was benign. Ask for neuro oncologist consult. He said we did not need it because it is benign and he would get it all out. At the second, pre op appointment he stated that he was not worried about stroke because there was no chance. Right after surgery he informed me that he had never seen a tumor like that. That it was really stuck to the brain and they had some difficulty getting it out.
