As a neurosurgeon, I seek to provide patients with the best possible relief from their condition with the least amount of discomfort using the least invasive corridor possible. This is done through teamwork with other specialties and using technologies such as endoscopy to provide novel approaches.

Dr. Gardner is a superb surgeon, but the negatives are so strong he can ruin your life. The UPMC Neurosurgery Department is unranked by US News and World Report. My advice to you would be to go to The Cleveland Clinic or Langone in NYC or the Mayo Clinic The review I wrote in December of 2017 was invalidated quickly.
Paul A. Gardner, MD has a 4.3 star rating with 51 reviews.
