Dr. Gardner led a team that was totally practiced, skilled, and competent. He reviewed my case (chondrosarcoma on my pituitary gland) and gave me all my options. We chose his cutting-edge procedure where his team did the removal through my nose and sinus. No damage to skull, brain, etc. My recovery period was very comfortable. They monitored the tumor site closely and followed my case until I relocated. At that time, he put me in contact with a colleague in my area and I get a checkup every year now.I am thoroughly impressed... read more

Despite being a part of a Chiari Center, Dr. Gardner is no expert. I was sent to physical therapy for Chiari (a condition that has a structural cause). This caused worse issues. I would not recommend him for Chiari. I’m sure he’s a great surgeon for other conditions.

I was absolutely petrified to have surgery. Dr. Gardner assured me the surgery would go well. He and his support staff are just wonderful. Thank you so much

He’s awesome how do I give thanks to someone that didn’t give me a lobotomy to keep me quiet, they should take away your phones until your better but on a serious note he knows what he is doing if you get the privilege to have him, some of his team members or interns i question especially the one that got me to sign the paper for the shunt well other than that if you deal with him or most of his staff is very knowledgeable and willing to listen, long waits at visits but Starbucks is nearby

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Paul Gardner. He is the absolute best neurologist hands down. I had to have brain surgery in November 2018 (meningioma tumor pressing down on my optic nerve). I was upset that I had to have brain surgery but glad I did. He was very informative about my surgery. He has great compassion for his patients, great bedside manner and very knowledgeable about the surgeries he preforms. If I ever had to go through having brain surgery, I'd have him do it again. His staff is excellent. I... read more

at the time of my televisit, as I was waiting, I received a call from his PA stating he would not see me. That he only deals with brains and I would need to see a spinal surgeon. The scheduler told me he had just seen a patient with my diagnosis and I am also having issues with my neck/vision which I believe has to do with my brain. Totally unprofessional. At least see me and assess my case before dismissing me. Seems this is the case with doctors nowadays.

Gardner is the best of the best. Worth the wait. Respected by his peers. I have had multiple surgeries due to aneurysms in my brain. Trust him to get the best job done. Every time!

Dr Gardner performed, with Dr Andrew McCall, a left middle fossa craniectomy to stop the C SF leaks from my brain to my middle ear and mastoid. He is an excellent surgeon and person. He has never been arrogant but he is confident and a very nice, kind man. I hope I don't need future surgery but if I did, I would definitely go to him.. A+ physician and person.
