Messed me up real bad.9 surgerys and still had to cut out my none, Infection kept coming back!contaminated hardware put in! Please stay away from Dr Dowdy!!!
never took xrays, cast broke within week, took three days to get walker aproved, no followup, staff almost rude on telephone. Did not get proper care had to get another doctor. Will not refer anyone to this group.
Dr. Dowdy is the worst physician I have ever encountered. The surgery he performed on me was done incorrectly, and I now need to have his bungled job fixed by another doctor. Stay away from this hack!!
The WORST Dr. I have ever had. I had routine Hip Replacement that he did such a terrible job of that I spent 9 weeks in a rehab. I am never able to drive again, I have NO use of my right foot and must wear a brace to be able to just stand up. As a result of his shoddy work, the wrong size hip was implanted and now my left leg is a full inch shorter than the right. When I asked Dr. Dowdy what happened, he said that he didn't know. Dr. Dowdy rushed through my 1st surgery, did not check his work and left my bicep muscle out of place & did not properly tighten the ball on the new shoulder joint. Because of this I had to have a 2nd surgery, when he put the muscle back where it belonged it was stretched and therefore did not hold my arm in the correct position. He refused to allow any credit on my bill for his sloppy work. I will never go to him again.
If you want quality, caring medical treatment look elsewhere. Dr. Dowdy's clinic (Cypress Orthopedics)is an uncaring machine, designed to push as many patients through in as little time as possible. Stay away.
Operated on my wife's rotor cuff. Although not in the medical field, I possess a Doctorate and I would rate Dr. Dowdy as an outstanding professional.
