Over year ago, I had broken foot and couple fractures. I went to see Dr. Dowdy , because my insurance had him as provider. Every time that I went there all he did order multiple x-rays from my foot. Upon reviewing x-rays, he comes to the room for 20 seconds and tells me see you in "two weeks". Two weeks later again he does nothing but taking x-rays. He did this for several visits. Dr. Dowdy performed a left total knee replacement on me in April 2017. I was back to work in less than 2 weeks. Nine months later and I am able to do things I wondered if I would ever be able to again. he and his staff are very thorough and caring. I highly recommend him.

Have been seeing Dr. Dowdy for many years and I will continue to do so. He is very knowledgeable and a fantastic surgeon. I have had a knee and shoulder surgery with him and feel much better. The best thing is he goes over options before rushing to surgery. Highly recommended!!!
My wife and I have seen Dr. Dowdy for carpal tunnel and a bursitis hip and we would highly recommend him
I seen Dr Dowdy a few months ago, staff was very nice. Dr was very pleasent and quick to do his majic . Seeming him again soon. I reccomened him very highly.
I was in the office the day the other comment referring he was yelling at this xray tech. This is not true because I was the patient standing outside my exam room. He was just agreeing with what his xray tech told him. This Doctor is very friendly, compassionate, and I trust him. If your having a bad day people try not to ruin others. Dr. Dowdy set the bar in orthopedics!
I cannot believe some of the comments I am reading. Some of you people who say Dr. Dowdy is uncaring, rude, unkind need to have your heads examined. I have had nothing but the best care from Dr. Dowdy and his staff. I trust him with my life!!! I am thankful God placed him in my path to take care of me. He prays for his patients, with his patients and listens to his patients. Is he perfect? Are you? Alright then, get over yourselves!!! Thank you Dr. Dowdy is all I can say, THANK YOU!!!!
