Very unprofessional. I had scheduled an appointment with Katy Patterson and when I called to confirm I was forwarded to an answering service; I was then informed that no one would be in the office until after my scheduled meeting time. I chose to ignore the review and wasted my time dealing with these people. I hope this helps others to steer clear of this company.
Maintenance is non-existent with this company...look elsewhere!
WARNING!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM PATTERSON PROPERTIES!!!!! I lived here for about eight months and every experience I had was HORRIFIC!!!! It began when in November of last year there was a carbon monoxide leak in the basement. Now I was pregnant at this time and a week before I called ameren ue (an emergency call) Darren patterson decided to place a carbon monoxide detector in the downstairs apartment and wait for us to find out that there was even a leak!! I had a meeting with Mr. Patterson for 8 am on a Monday and he failed to show up. Instead, the current tenant had to show me the property. After viewing the place I was trying to get an application from Mr. Patterson and he failed to email it to me on the day he had promised. I am the wife of a 5 time iraqi freedom war vet whom is still a United States Marine. I live in Missouri while he is in NC, I rented a home from Mr. Patterson in June 2010, within a month I discovered a huge gas leak, the next month the main bathroom and kitchen started backing up into the basement, next my 9 year old fell through the shower wall due to extreme termite damage, I was bitten a brown recluse. my future wife karen and i just rented an amazingly beautiful 2 bedroom apt from darren and WOW was it nice he is vry nice and professional and quick with maintainance needs if the apt is not not up his standards b4 u move in he makes damn sure it is by time u move in i like him i dnt wna leave my apt !!!!
I was living in another state and looking to move back to Missouri. I had rented from Darren for 4 years previously to moving out of state... so thought Id call and see what he had available. Within 3 days I received a phone call letting me know that he had found an apartment, exactly what I was looking for! Patterson Property Management is professional and works hard to find you, your perfect apartment home!
Speaking of Daren....I wanted so much to believe that for once I had a decent landlord; who was going to be a man of his word. Unfortunately, I did not get that after being a good tenant for 3 years with Daren. Instead I got an individual who wanted to use a state statute to avoid giving me my deposit back, yet never once warned me through my moving process that my deposit was going to be compromised.
