A Louisville classic! Love this place, great service, friendly owner, a throw back to days gone by. It is what it is, enjoy it for that and try not to make it something that it isn't.
Great Service!! Great Food!! We were sitting in the bar waiting four our guest to arrive. The owner himself came by and told us about the out door bar. He walked us out there himself. We really enjoyed sitting on the comfortable couches and having a drink with friends while we waited. They had an outdoor dinner seating area as well. Great food, great atmosphere, attentive staff. Even though steaks are their speciality, their menu offers a variety of dishes other than steak. Their house-made blue cheese dressing was delicious. A very relaxing evening
Steak was very tough, service was unacceptably slow
I have always enjoyed it been going there for about 25 years good steak you don't need seasoning they bring your bowls of vegetables not a little spoon again good you don't really need seasoning depends on your taste but you can't please all the people all the time I used to live right on top of their been going there for over 25 years on top of Idlewild in the apartments I didn't mean on top of this steak house

The food was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive. My steak had the perfect flavor and my husband loved the fried pork chops.
Family style veggies are always good. Rolls are delish. Pat's is very accommodating, seating-wise, but our steaks were the worst of anytime we have ever been. Not an inexpensive place and we don't like to complain after we've started eating because then it holds up your meal. We had ribeye and ladies filet. Neither were good. I'll go back to having chicken livers.
I had the Salmon and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection. � The vegetables were good also! Lots of food for the money.
