This is my 2nd time with Patriot Hospice and my daddy. In January 2026, Daddy was placed on hospice for the 2nd time, after coming home with me after mom passed away. He has a GREAT team taking care of him, from the social case worker (Cassie), aid (Lisa), nurses (can't remember all the names but Ron and Jenny) volunteers (Kathy & Gwen) and Chaplin Scott. I am writing this to share a very concerning experience with Patriot Hospice. During my mother’s admission on Monday, I explicitly requested liquid PRN (as-needed) medications to avoid the exact situation we faced this week. I was told that would be handled. However, on Christmas Eve, when my mother became unresponsive and unable to swallow, the liquid medication was nowhere to be found. A wonderful company full of caring passionate staff.
Patriot health has been a godsend in caring for my elderly father with dementia. Lisa in particular has been extraordinarily competent and caring. Always patient and goes way above and beyond in her care. My mother would be lost without her. I’m forever grateful for this.
There are some people you can never thank enough for what they've done for you or your family. Patriot is one of those companies that truly have the best folks working very hard to make sure your loved one is being taken care of. My mother started with Patriot Palliative and then Hospice.
