(Late Review) Dr. Gabikian performed my pituitary tumor removal surgery in 2017 when I was 21. Dr. Gabikian will lay the facts on the table and leave you informed and educated. I personally value his ability to lay out the facts and truth over him worrying about my feelings over the matter. His bedside manners were a little rough for me being 21 and this being my first surgery, but very well justified with his knowledge and expertise. This doc is fantastic. Had a benign brain tumor last year causing me to go blind. He’s a bit stern yet totally honest and also hilarious. After 3 surgeries I was in the clear. He also checked in on me every day while in the hospital.
Horrendous human. Shame on Kaiser for allowing this man to be alone with patients. The cultural incompetency, inhumane treatment, and vile discourse he displayed when caring for my partner should never have occurred. Dangerous to leave your loved one in his care.
On oct 3rd, I had a troubling experience in the ICU when a doctor entered my room late at night. He demanded that I turn off the TV and informed me that when he walks into a room, he brings bad news. I responded that he is not God, to which he replied, 'If there is one.' That showed a lack of respect right there. He continued to speak to me in a disrespectful manner.
