Extremely rushed visit. Maybe 15 minutes start to finish, 5 minutes or less with the doctor. He was seeing at least 3 others at the same exact time.That could be overlooked, but the staff handling prescriptions and preauths are why I will not be back. NEVER called me back, didn't follow up with my insurance and didn't follow through on anything despite me calling to follow up on the process. Extremely upset at this experience.
I have psoriasis on my skin and nails. A previous doctor misdiagnosed me, and I wondered why I wasn't healing for years. I'm so grateful I went to see Dr. Safo.
I saw Dr. Safo in October 2023, and in May 2024, I was diagnosed with melanoma by a different dermatologist. I requested a copy of my medical records, and he had not noted the area on my left forearm that concerned me. In June, 2024 I had surgery at AZ Cancer Center to remove the cancer. The medical record is boilerplate. He did not discuss using sunscreen, hats, and clothing, though that is noted in the record.
Doctor Safe, It's an outstanding doctor He's good at what he does hes sufficient on point and he knows what hes doing, I definitely have recommended him to other friends and family to go there to see him hes an excellent doctor
He is wonderful! He called me himself and left a message about his concern that I return to the office after a biopsy. His manner is very good, and he has a sense of humor.
He removed my skin cancer. He's very knowledgeable, precise, thorough and most of all, he really cares about his patients.
Very disappointing. Although Dr. Safo had a decent bedside manner most of the time, I was very disappointed that a skin doctor misdiagnosed what turned out to be one of the worst cases of skin sores because of being allergic to gluten. He sent me to a psychiatrist who told me to see someone else. After going on a gluten free diet the sores I had for over four years went away. I am left with many noticable scars.
