Dr. Madden is brilliant!! I had my first stroke 23 years ago. My neurologist in Mi. attributed all my balance, strength and droopy eye to that and subsequent strokes. 23 years. The first time I saw Dr. Madden he asked if I had been tested for Myasthenia Gravis, my first visit! I told him no and he ordered numerous tests to be 100% sure. The last was a muscle biopsy which proved without a doubt, his first assumption based on his years of experience was correct.. Dr.Madden always listened and kept an open mind, unlike so many neurologists I have met over the years. I appreciated feeling like he cared enough to not only listen to me but to understand me as well. In that, he was able to diagnose and treat me as a whole person, not just parts.
I have been to several neurologists and Dr. Madden has by far helped me the most. He is thorough and an “out of the box” thinker. I’m so happy my pain medicine doctor referred me to him!
I don’t recommend having Dr. Madden perform an EMG test on you. I did and it was very painful. A month later I had an EMG test done by another neurologist and I experienced no pain at all.
Dr Madden is knowledgeable and caring. I have been impressed with his interest in getting to the root of my health concerns. A better neurology choice could not be found!
Dr. Madden has impeccable credentials. More important, they complement long experience & help him think & treat innovatively. Dr. Madden treats the whole person and is acutely sensitive to his patients, their families & caregivers. His quality of care, unimpeachable ethics, humanity, humility, & last but not least, his sense of humor are unmatched. His small practice has dedicated & friendly staff. Patients may wait a bit; Dr. Madden gives each patient time, expertise & personalized,care.
Nice person .Office very disorganized. Poor followup. Last appointment waited over an hour. Forgot I was there. No one else was in the waiting room so I just left. They never called me afterwards. Saw him at Cattleridge office also but they forgot my records. Would never go back.
