I have seen Dr. D for over 13 years. He removed a large fibroid tumor from me that was a very intensive and scary surgery and I have never looked back! He has been my Dr since then. By having that surgery, I was able to have my 2nd baby and I will be forever grateful to him. He is very kind, gentle and understanding. He is super knowledgeable and his office staff & midwifes, particularly Sally and Bethany are wonderful! I have recommended him to my family and friends and I will be a forever patient! 😊 highly recommend!
Do you remember me Debbie Briseno back 37 years ago. You remember you just started out Santa Paula office. Drove your first red corvette. You were a great doctor then helped me fight endometriosis. Had my uterus removed. Then 1 year later I had 9 inches of lower intestine removed due to endometriosis stuck to my intestine. Then 15 years I had surgery due to adhesions. I’m giving a 3-star rating instead of 2 because a few exceptional professionals made a difference in my experience. To start, Dr. Diesfeld has a great reputation in the Ventura area. My review isn't due to feeling unsafe or uncomfortable. I also want to recognize one of his lead nurses and her assistant, who were excellent during a procedure, and an office staff member who went out of their way to correct an error. Called regarding my bill, spoke with Priscilla who immediately raised her voice and began yelling, versus offering a payment plan and accusing me of not wanting to pay my bill. It's unfortunate that physicians have unprofessional, unethical and unqualified staff. This has been my first negative experience. After she accused me of "trying to get away with not paying my bill", I advised she didn't offer a payment plan, she said I did not allow her to speak after she went on a rant and was yelling.
