I’m giving a 3-star rating instead of 2 because a few exceptional professionals made a difference in my experience. To start, Dr. Diesfeld has a great reputation in the Ventura area. My review isn't due to feeling unsafe or uncomfortable. I also want to recognize one of his lead nurses and her assistant, who were excellent during a procedure, and an office staff member who went out of their way to correct an error. Called regarding my bill, spoke with Priscilla who immediately raised her voice and began yelling, versus offering a payment plan and accusing me of not wanting to pay my bill. It's unfortunate that physicians have unprofessional, unethical and unqualified staff. This has been my first negative experience. After she accused me of "trying to get away with not paying my bill", I advised she didn't offer a payment plan, she said I did not allow her to speak after she went on a rant and was yelling. Dr. Sally McNally is a compassionate, experienced and empowering midwife who has dedicated her life’s work to women’s health. She helped to guide me through my first vaginal delivery of my daughter. It was such a special day, and it was close to the delivery I had envisioned! My husband and I enjoyed Sally’s hypnobirthing classes and prenatal yoga which helped us mentally prepare for labor and delivery. We can’t thank her enough!
