In 1996 my sight in my left eye was failing, and the IOP was so high that I would be blind before long. The right eye was not as bad, so Dr. Wong fixed the left eye first. The pressure has stayed low in the left eye. That is now the eye I see best out of. I had read that the surgery could cause cataracts, but Dr. Wong suggested the cataracts may not be related to the surgery. I did develop a cataract, but in my right eye.
