Nice Staff Unfortunately, last Christmas I had to visit them to get stitches in my finger. I didn't wait long in the waiting room, but it was QUITE awhile before I could actually see a doctor. It was definitely extenuating circumstances because of the holiday and they had lost power. But the rest of the staff continued to check on me and even offer my husband and I some of their holiday food. I would definitely return there over going to an ER for minor injuries.

Great place! I have taken my husband and my children to be seen here several times. The wait was definitely quick. The staff will check on you several times to make sure that you are okay before and after the doctor has seen you. They worked very hard to make my son comfortable. They gave him crayons and let him color on the paper that lines the bed. They also gave him stickers and activities to keep him busy while he had tests done.

Wonderful staff My husband fell ill one weekendand I rushed him to Patient First. The staff there was very kind and comforting and really helped us both through this scary ordeal. The doctors and nurses were very professional and kind to us. When my husband was admitted to the hospital, the staff at Patient First even rang me at home to check on my husband. Really good people and first rate care. I hope no one ever needs to use them, but its really good to know that they are there for when you do need them.

Great Dr's office Patient First is located in a good section of Chesapeake. The nurses & doctors are very friendly and they get you in and out in a timely manner. Not too many patients @ this location usually. They are open 365 days a year too! PROS: Fast & friendly, great location CONS: Not open 24 hours....I believe their hours are 8am-10pm

Physician Assistant-Lamberson the Lion! I went to Patient First to be examined and a female in a white jacket entered the room without introducing herself and proceeded to explain to me that she was not going to conduct the exam that I, as a pateint, was requesting. The exam was approved by my insurance company. Nonetheless, Physician Lamberson refused to conduct the exam and became rude and unprofessional, almost as if she wanted to engage in a power struggle with me and prevail to demonstrate that she had the final say and... read more

Glad we went We went to Patient First when my wife fell ill recently. Their staff was quick, efficient and professional and diagnosed my wife's condition in short order. They were even able to prescribe generic medications that saved us plenty.

Patient First is terrible!!! I brought my five year old son to Patient First to have his elbow looked at - he had fallen off the swing set. It was very swollen and extremely sore. The nurses were kind and gentle, then the doctor entered and before she even saw x-rays she decided he had nursemaid elbow and tried to reduce it. He screamed and cried with pain, then after the x-rays (4 done to get 2 decent pictures) were done she told me he had a small fracture in his forearm and had nursemaid elbow. I told her not to splint him... read more

paperwork I'm retired military and take my daughter here for minor treatment because she has asthma. I needed to have a hold harm-less letter for school because she plays sports. I dropped my paperwork off to be signed 5 days ago and still haven't got a Dr. to sign the paperwork yet? First they said the Dr. who last saw her needed to sign it. That Dr. is on vacation, but his PA should have signed it, now they're on vacation. This run-around just doesn't make any sense. Now I'm told they can't even fax it to the school, becau... read more

Really good with small children I have to take both my children for treatment for unexpected illness. We were registered within in moments of signing in, the waiting area was neat and clean. The staff was kind and gentle with my children. And both recovered well from their illnesses after treatment. I would recommend them for anyone with little children.
