This place will scam you out of money. Crooked doctors and crooked business practices. Read for yourself the people that have had issues. I was using them as my primary care. Had an issue with my back and they treated me with a shot. No problem. A few months later another issue with my back. Son and I go in so I can get another shot. Doc took x-rays and FREAKED out saying I had blood clots in my lungs and could literally die at any moment and called an ambulance to the ER which was a light and a half away. Scared me, scared my son, and cost me a fortune for the ride to the ER in the ambulance and the ER visit. The people checking me over at the ER were laughing and joking about how much of a joke Patient First is. Prognosis, no blood clots in my lungs. After this I never used them again. Until last week when they were the only place that could see me for a DOT physical. I'm still dealing with nonsense from them and jumping through hoops to try to get them to release the DOT card to me. Will post results soon. As well as filing whatever formal complaints I can about this place

I used to recommend the patient first on Denbigh often. However after my experience with an extremely rude and unprofessional nurse I will never recommend. We are in the middle of a pandemic so I called to ask about what precautions patient first is taking because my son needed care. The woman on the phone acted appalled at my questions like how dare I even ask. She said the waiting room is open and patient first is not forcing social distancing but patients can distance themselves. So basically the feeling I got from this woman was that well Patient First isn’t taking precautions and we can enter at our own risk and it’s not on them to do anything to minimize the risks of exposure.

My husband, son and I have been going to Patient First for almost 20 years. Never again. I really liked Dr. Lam so I chose him for my primary doctor. In December, 2019 I went to him for my blood pressure. They charged double what my other primary had charged. I wanted to do my wellness check then, but he said to wait because he wanted to check my bp in 2 months and we would do that visit as my wellness check. After that visit, I checked the patient portal for my lab results 2 days later and saw they had as reason for visit was wellness check. The labs were covered. One week later it was changed to blood pressure. Of course, I received a bill for over $200. My husband has made so many calls to explain that we weren't paying this because it was a wellness check. And no surprise, no one in the Denbigh or corporate office wants to take responsibility for how it was coded and changed. We have been dealing with this crap for 4 months!!! They are still doing the same crap. Unless this is dealt with, NONE OF US WILL BE GOING BACK!!! To have had great service all the years we went and I choose them as my primary and everything goes to hell.

Be prepared to wait, well over an hour wait every time I’ve come here. What a waste of time! Even on a slow day with no cars in the parking lot I have never been seen by a physician is less than an hour. I waited for an hour and half today before having to leave to avoid being late for something else! Absolutely ridiculous wait times. Is there only ever one doctor?

This is my first trip to patient first. From signing in to checking out, everything and everyone was wonderful! The staff, nurses, and doctors were all extremely friendly and kind. I would highly recommend

Wow, was I surprised by the efficiency and kindness of every single staffer. 37 minutes in and out, to include filling my prescription there. Thank you all so much!!! -Someone who didn’t feel well
